My vision as a professional educator is to develop, nurture, and prepare students academically and socially to meet the demands of our world.
I have been married to the most beautiful and amazing woman, Stephanie, for five years. We have one beautiful daughter Olivia Mae who is one. Luckily, Olivia takes after her mother. :) In our free time, we enjoy traveling, camping, going to the lake, and just spending time together at home or with friends. My hobbies include grilling, camping, fishing (even though I do not do much catching), and playing the guitar. My favorite television shows are American Pickers, The Andy Griffith Show, and The Bachelor/Bachelorette (guilty pleasure). We attend church at The Healing Place in Trussville, AL where we are involved in music and nursery ministry. When I graduated college, my initial plan was not to be a teacher. However, after working as an in-home therapist for about a year, I realized my passion was to work with kids in the school setting. My desire is for all kids to be successful. I hold very high expectations of all students despite what struggles they may have.
